Testimonials

  • Having Rosie as my piano teacher has been an inspiring and transformative experience. Despite my initial concerns about balancing advanced piano lessons with a full-time job, Rosie unwavering support and guidance have made the journey not only manageable but deeply rewarding. Her expertise extends far beyond exam preparation; her meticulous attention to detail has helped me bring out the appropriate character in each piece I play. Rosie has sharpened my understanding of harmonic colours, refined my technical precision, and enhanced my fluency and expressive control. I am truly grateful for her dedication and encouragement, which have profoundly enriched my musical journey.

  • Rosie has made a huge difference to my piano playing over many years. Working with her through the higher ABRSM grades she has consistently brought focus on aspects of musicality such as dynamics, articulation, phrasing and harmony. She shares her deep experience and a wide range of methods to improve understanding and performance, each time finding an approach that resonated with me to help me reach my goals.

Why I started Praeludium?

Too many students learn to play before they understand. Praeludium exists to slow things down, deepen the roots, and reconnect students to the why behind every note.
